The Communications Trainer by ASA is an excellent program, but we feel that it goes a little deeper than necessary for students and pilots alike. Still, if you are looking for an in-depth guide to saying absolutely anything on the radio, then the communications trainer is an excellent choice.
The FAA publicly publishes all of its training manuals, practical test standards, regulations, and more, which makes the flight pro library virtually pointless unless you want to access the documents in places where the internet is not available. Still, you could simply search all of the documents out and save them to your computer. But, if motivation just isn't in your cards, then $55 bucks will buy you a cd with everything on it.
The Jeppesen Chart training CD is decent, but the DVD is much better so we give this one three attitude indicators. Last but not least is the ASA Prepware programs designed to help you pass the knowledge test. Each program is amazing and we would recommend anyone of them to help you pass the test you are currently studying for.
